At last nights prestigious Shining Light Award Ceremony in the Canal Court Hotel Newry 2020 won a Shining Light Award for best Community Group/ Association. The award in the Community Group category was jointly won by 2020 and Killowen Fundraising Group for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The category was sponsored by Newry Credit Union.
The Patricia Graham Shining Light Community Volunteering Awards honour the life and work of Patricia Graham by recognising the significant contribution made by others to meet the needs of the local community through volunteering.
The awards are held annually by the Confederation of Community Groups and last nights ceremony saw over 500 community volunteers in attendance.
